Where we are is about faith. We did not choose the journey; it chose us. Risk and fear are strewn about the path, which is precisely how we know it is the journey of faith. This journey, finally, is not about us. It is about the world. It is not about the world as it is or as it should be; it is about living at the precise intersection of these; that is, at the intersection of the cross, where Christ confronts and redeems the world at one and the same time.
